The St. Killian’s clock chimes softly as hushed murmurs linger in the dim staircase above.
Beneath the black sky, snow gently descends outside the windows, while the flames of candles illuminate the extended night.
Devil’s Night is not the sole festivity on our calendar. Tonight, a different guise adorns us.
Some term it Midwinter.
Others refer to it as Yule.
For us, it is Fire Night.
